So good domain is http://seocontest2008.uk.com/ but if it is seo-contest-2008.something it’s a bad domain because for Google it’s not a one word. If the contest search phrase was “seo contest 2008” both of the domains are good but now the one with dashes sucks :). May be you think all good domains are registered… Are you sure? What about winseocontest2008.something or nextseocontest2008.something or a,b,c,d,e(whatever)seocontest2008.something? Yes, Google is seeing the key phrase and it’s giving bonus strength to the page for this search, and you know in a seo contest you must use all you can to got better ranking.
