SEOContest2008 - The Whole story…

Let’s look at this story as something global…

What exactly IS SEOContest2008?
And how is it made? Lets look back in time and see all seo contest, separating them from each other and taking a deeper look on seocontest2008.

I developed my interest in SEO (and the contests for it) about a … maybe a year ago (?)… Can’t tell much for the UK naming seocontest2008 or ‘07, ‘06, and so and so, but i can tell you a story for “Ayicazimitpo Lagug”. This was the keyword (just like seocontest2008), with which the Bulgarian SEO experts/professionals/amateurs (like me) tried to claim the first place of google… The first place, that is deserved only for the best one in the Search Engine Optimization. I have heard that many people make search engine optimization contests (if you haven’t already understood: seocontest2008 is the keyword in this year’s (2008) seo contest, organized by the UK Webmaster World, for which every seocontest2008 player is competing), but i tell you… you have never seen a seo contest like ayicazimitpo lagug ever! That’s when i understood that SEO, seo contests, and search engine optimization as a whole can be even fun to do… Links, lies, loosers… and many other “L”’s were at this contest :) People, trying to steal the prize of seocontest2008 … ummm…. bulgarian 2007, sorry, telling lies, just to get links to his page, many promises, containing materials that we here in Bulgaria call “Sujuci” and “Lukanki” (famous food made out of meat (REALLY TASTY!!!)) were given and taken … It was fun at all…

And as in every great fairytale, the good guy (peter) won the competition, and the day was saved, because the whole game began to look more like a struggle, than game… and the bet was now not only money, but the Bulgarian SEO honor… so… Thanks, Peter, for saving the day !
