Then, add the mixed wet ingredients to the already mixed dry ones. You need to stir gently. If you overbeat the mixture, the pancakes will be tough. The wet and dry ingredients should combine well, although several lumps are allowed..

Heat up your pan or griddle to medium and grease it with butter, vegetable oil or non stick spray, anything you like. Use a ladle or measuring cup to take part of the batter and pour in the pan. You pour ¼ cups in four positions to make the pancake and the distance between every spot should be about 2 inches. Leave them cook for about a minute. The bubbles forming around the pancake are a sign that they are ready to be turned. Turn them and after one more minute, you pancakes are ready to be served.

When the pancakes are ready, they should have golden brown color on each side. Serve them hot with your favorite topping!
